More Caribbean Island stuff.........

Hey everybody...........Here at Caribbean Island Fun it would seem that one of the hardest tasks is just finding others who are as interested as you are. I have been working on submitting this blog to bloc lists hoping to drum up some visitors. I need to get on here more and get some better stuff up for our friends.

One of my mine interests is finding unique ways to travel to the Caribbean Islands. I want to hear from those who own a place or a regular spot they always go to. I want to hear about how you break into or get to know the locals. It is really fascinating to me thinking that one day I could figure out how to live part time in Caribbean paradise. If you leave there know how did you do it.

And then there is networking with those with similar interests, lets learn ways help each other out. This could be as simple as "hey here is a great travel agent" to real business relationships where we match people with similar passions to meet an end goal. And eveything in between.

So if you happen by and want to join me in my search to learn, well lets learn together. I'm just a guys with a few dreams and hope to find others who share them or similar dreams. Let us know what your interests are and lets build something.

Thanks for stopping by Caribbean Island Fun.

Count Down to the Caribbean Island travel season

Hi everyone......Its been a few days since I've had time to post on Caribbean Island Fun. The thanksgiving Holidays and job stuff have been taking all my time.
Well the real count down is on to those of us that love to get going south to the Caribbean Islands now that the weather were many of us live is turning colder. For me it is just 24 days until departure for the Mexican Riviera Maya, can't wait. And as much as I am looking forward to Caribbean Island style travel to Mexico I really want to learn from the seasoned Caribbean traveler about the out of the way hot spots.
Where are you going next and why did you choose your destination? I have been reading a lot of Caribbean Island travel articles and I thought I would share some of the so called experts opinions with you on cheaper places to go during the high season.
At the top of the list for families with toddlers and teens are the famous Beaches Resorts. At three of these all-inclusive, Beaches Sandy Bay Jamaica, Beaches Negril resort and Spa Jamaica and Beaches Turks and Caicos the rates have been cut by 50% starting Jan. 1st. Check out Beaches.com.
Next up more for couples check out the Radisson Aruba resort and Casino starting at $3125 which includes breakfast, available Jan 1 - April 30th. Log onto radisson.com/Aruba
One more for now, check out the Mount Nevis Hotel and Beach Club, here you can hand at the beach or hike Mount Nevis with an ace guide or mountain bike to the village of Newcastle. five nights with a kitchen equipped suite start at $2499 available from Dec 15- April 15. Log onto mountnevishotel.com
I have never been one for the athletic style vacation by yet I know many look for the chance to test there abilities in foreign places. I need to rethink my ideas and get on board with the exercise when you travel crowd.
Next time we look at the 2007 peoples choice best of the best for all types of Caribbean Island beach travelers. I hope you will look at the hotspot for Caribbean Island Travel listed above and I hope you will add your own recommendations either from personal experience or heard from friends and family. Thanks for taking the time to look around, talk to you soon.

Caribbean Islands Map

Here is a caribbean island map.

Hey caribbean island lovers. I thought that it might be a great idea to get a map put up showing the entire caribbean. It seems that most people do not realize just how big or how big of an area that the caribbean covers. In the map you can see that unless you live the region or you won the lottery a person could spend a lifetime exploring the caribbean islands and just studying caribbean island maps. Which area do you want to visit next?

My wife and I planning our next trip to Belize. Many people consider Belize the next great caribbean tourist destination. In fact a major reason for starting this blog was to get input from others on where to travel to in the caribbean islands from those who have been there. If you travel to the caribbean please share where you like best and give the rest of us some tips. Our plans seem to keep changing as we discover new things about Belize. Here is a link to check out for some info. http://www.travelbelize.org/

If you have a cribbean map that you like best please share it with us. It would be really cool if you have a map of the country you like best and post it here.

Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed your visit. I hope you will take the time to post something that could help the rest of us. Have a great weekend.
